Yoga: Lower Back Release
In recognising how much mobility and stress relief YOGA has given me and celebrating INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY, here is a short 15 minute practice to help you ease out the strain of tight back muscles. Mobility training has definitely moved up the list of priorities for HOW I move and what I believe is good for my body today. For example, I spent the whole week traveling for work and while I got out for the odd run, I didn’t have the mental motivation to look for a gym and do my regular workouts. When I woke up, all I had the energy for was a 30-minute yoga practice and so that is what I did!
It’s so important that we really tune in to what our body is telling us we need, without letting feelings or thoughts of guilt about not maintaining your “training” goals seep in.
